VAM news monitored the just concluded Osun Osogbo Festival.

During the Osun Osogbo Festival VAM news inspected the Osun groove and notice the dilapidated condition of the floating bridge situated in the groove called ‘Gada Amititi’.

The bridge pillar is no more strong and some part of likely to collapse at any time.

But the surprising thing is that, with the level of dilapidated condition of the floating bridge, the hoodlums were seen shaking the bridge forcefully without considering what might be the consequence of that their actions.

We felt that the authority in charge of it shouldn’t wait till when the bridge collapse or claim peoples lives before taking an action.

We hereby advice government authority to inspect the bridge and profer the possible solution to it.
