The Revolutionary president of the National association of Nigerian students (NANS), Comrade Sunday Asefon has described the death of the First National President of NANS as a great loss.
In a statement made available to Journalists by NANS national Media and publicity said, the legacies and track records of Comrade Oladele Sunday would continue to tarry in the memory of Nigerian students.
Part of the statement reads; “the Revolutionary NANS President, Asefon Sunday Dayo has condoled with the family, Friends and Nigerian Students over the passing away of the first elected President of NANS. The Revolutionary President said the demise of this foremost and highly respected leader came as a rude shock. Asefon said the legacies and track records of Comrade Oladele Sunday would continue to tarry in the memory of Nigerian Students.
During his lifetime, he was a dogged comrade, human rights activist and progressive leader of high pedigree. According to the NANS President, he said the deceased used his entire life for the struggles for emancipation of Nigerian Students.
The Revolutionary NANS President prayed that God gives family and friends of the departed soul the grittiness to bear this irreparable loss. I know the agony and pain you’re experiencing at the moment, but for the fact that death is inevitable, we have no power of our own to enliven him. This reason, we need to accept this as faith, Asefon concluded.
