Oyetola’s Reelection: Imam Baseer Didn’t Speak For Hausa Community, He Spoke For Himself – Says Osun APC Hausa Group

Ilerioluwa Hausa Mobilizer Group, a socio political group that believes solely in the ideology and leadership charisma of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola has absolutely condemned the watery, baseless and insane outpour of Imam Baseer ( Former Aide to Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola).

According to the statement, It is very shocking that Imam Baseer could gather few people and started blackmailing Governor Gboyega Oyetola on behalf of the entire Hausa community in the State.

This group, through its Chairman Ilerioluwa Hausa Mobilizer Group, in the statement made available to VAM News, Alh. Umar Kotonkoro, has contacted Council of Sarki Hausa in the State, Youths and relevant Stakeholders and it’s obvious that none of these personalities has sent Iman Basher to attack and condemn the current government in the State. We want to state categorically that since the coming of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, Hausa community across the state have been peace and the environment is very conducive for us.

“Mr Governor has been extending hand of fellowship to us and we are very contented with his government and leadership style. Through the giant stride of the people’s Governor, security has been beefed up and the Hausas have seen Osun State as the safest place for them to live. It’s only in Osun that banditry, kidnapping and other crimes have been totally nipped in the bud. This is a result of Mr Governor’s stride in tackling insecurity.

When Ilerioluwa Hausa Mobilizer Group contacted some of our fathers, Youths and Stakeholders, they applauded Mr Governor endlessly and promised to support his Government wholeheartedly. On a final note, we want to warn Imam Baseer not to drag Hausa community into politics of calumny or use his parochial interest to cause disharmony amongst the Hausas. Ilerioluwa Hausa Mobilizer Group would do everything necessary to mobilize for Mr Governor and return him to office through massive votes in 2022,” the statement reads.
