Just In: Again, Gunmen attack bank in Ondo

Reports reaching VAM News indicates that a commercial bank was attacked by armed robbers at Yaba Area of Ondo town, Ondo State.

It was gathered that the bandits stormed the bank, a few meters away from the Yaba Police Division at around 3pm on Thursday.

It was learnt that the robbers shot indiscriminately to scare residents away.

Eyewitnesses said many people were injured but not the robbery wasn’t successful.

This development is happening only two weeks after similar bank robbery was recorded at Ilara mokin in Ifedore local government area of the state, where three lives were lost, including a veteran journalist, Bunmi Afuye.
