My Parents Know That Am A Thief – Suspected Shop Burglar Narrates

 

 

 

The Osun state police command paraded some suspects on Tuesday 27th July 2021.

 

One of the suspects Mathew Ajayi who was held for burglary offence. When interviewed by the press revealed that he has been perpetrating the acts since four years ago.

 

It was hunger that forced me into the acts of stealing.

 

 

I am not the only one that is doing it, i have an accomplice called Tunde, he is my Informant and also we do operate together.

 

There is a woman that we usually sell stolen drinks too at Kolawole, she is our customer.

 

My parents are aware that am a thief, they have came here this morning, he said.

 

Another suspects held by police for stealing and robbing named Sandra Bisong revealed that he came to Osogbo from Cross River state.

 

 

My first time of being in this state was 2015/2016 when I was brought by someone, but this time around I came to the state by myself.

 

I have no shelter in Osogbo, it’s beside the road near old garage that I used to sleep at night.

 

I have been stealing since when I was in Cross River and while in Osogbo I continue perpetrating the acts, he confessed.
