Oko Iyabo: Yomi Fabiyi Reacts After Being Suspended By TAMPAN Over His New Movie

Actor cum producer Yomi Fabiyi has reacted to his suspension by TAMPAN over his controversial movie Oko Iyabo saying one doesn’t lose what they never had.

Yomi Fabiyi for reasons best known to him made a movie out of the Baba Ijesha rape saga title Oko Iyabo using the names of those who played important role in the whole brouhaha and still defending his actions when called out.

TAMPAN just as they suspended Nkechi Blessing and Iyabo Ojo for stepping on toes with their stance on the rape saga has also suspended Yomi Fabiyi for doing worse than stepping on toes and he still hasn’t shown any rumors and is still defending himself as well. According to him, he’s not a TAMPAN member but originally an ANTP member, and the worse case is for him to renew his membership with them as he only paid for registration at TAMPAN but didn’t take any form to join so their suspension is nothing to him.

Yomi Fabiyi went ahead to state that the letter of suspension from TAMPAN is inappropriate and not valid for him as a filmmaker and any reaction from that if necessary would be on the basis of Human Rights Violation if he so wishes to seek judicial redress as no one loses what they don’t have.

Yomi Fabiyi’s response indicates that he’s in no way regretful of what he did by making a movie with a rape situation and also twisting the whole story making it look as if the minor involved had a romantic relationship with the person who molested her.
