PDP Belongs To All, Intimidation Will Be A Thing Of The Past Soonest, Segun Oni Assures Group

 

 

 

A former Governor of Ekiti State and Aspirant in the 2022 election, Engineer Segun Oni has charged members of the PDP Youth Family to more steadfast and proactive to governance, adding that they secured their interest in the party.

 

 

The former governor made this known during a meeting in his home town at Ifaki while hosting the leadership of Ekiti PDP Youth Family today.

 

 

In his words, Oni said PDP needed energetic and progressive youths with ideas that can transform the party positively. ” Having seen your encompassing programme, I do not doubt in my mind that this group means well for the coming back of PDP to power in 2022″

 

 

Oni, who pledged the sum of 250,000 to support the proposed programme of the group, reinstated his commitment to more support.

 

 

The former governor who reacted to intimidation of delegates from some quarters said nobody can remove their names from the delegate list for associating with any governorship Aspirant.

 

 

“We have heard series of complaints of intimidation, suppression of delegates. I want to assure you that PDP belongs to all, intimidation will be a thing of the past soonest”, Oni concluded.

 

 

The group which donated Souvenirs which includes about 2,500 Faze Caps and other materials for Oni’s campaign, said the onus is on them to amplify his good deeds to every nook and crannies of the state.

 

 

Reacting, the State Coordinator of the group, Mr Saliu Akeem (Candid) said Oni is a leader who Ekiti Youths should rally around. “We have instructed about 83 youthful delegates who are part of us not to surface in the photograph to avoid further intimidation, Saliu said.

 

 

In the meeting were respected leaders, such as Hon. Yemi Arokodare, Campaign Director-General, Akogun Bunmi Ogunleye, Hon. Rosco, 50/50 and others.
