How I Emerged As Osun Rep Member Despite Lack Of Fund – Bamidele Salam Discloses

 

A member of Nigeria’s 9th House of Representatives, Hon. Bamidele Salam, has revealed how he Emerged as a representative member without personal money.

 

The Rep member, representing Ede federal constituency made it known to journalists at the maiden edition of the media parley organised by Osun Online Media Practitioners Association (OOMPA) in Osogbo, the Osun state capital.

 

He disclosed that he couldn’t afford N2million to contest for the national assembly seat, but God really used Dr Deji Adeleke for him both morally and financially.

 

In his word:
“Though, he doesn’t like me saying it but it must be said. I am eternally grateful to God and Dr. Deji Adeleke for making me who I am today. As far as Osun is concerned, he remains my teacher and mentor.”

During the media parley, he responded on whether politics is a dirty game, the lawmaker said it depends on which perspective you are taking it from.

 

“In politics, we have good, pleasant and most honorable people the same way we have most wicked and bad people. However, this is not limited to politics, it’s everywhere.” Bamidele said.
