Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly mulling over his Juventus future and would be open to a return to Man United.
The Portuguese talisman is currently staring at an uncertain future with the Italian giants and has consistently been linked with a potential departure.
Metro UK now reports the forward is considering a sensational reunion with the United this summer, with the publication adding the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is willing to take a pay cut to complete the move.
It is understood United are as well keeping tabs on his situation in Turin where failure to qualify for the Champions League next season could force him to leave.
Juve are currently placed fifth on the Serie A standings with 75 points, meaning they must win their last match of the season against Bologna to increase their chances of playing in the European competition next season.
Ronaldo has just a year left on his current deal with the Italian side, having joined them during the summer of 2018 from Real Madrid.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding Ronaldo’s future, Juve chief Andrea Agnelli has in the recent past declared the club’s intent to keep the forward.
Agnelli further defended his decision to fork out £99million to bring the Portuguese from the Spanish capital in the hope he could lead them to Champions League glory.
“We brought Cristiano to Italy and his presence alone has guaranteed the other clubs €4 million at the box office,”
Agnelli said as cited by Mirror UK. “We wish to continue importing other champions with the benefits for all levels of football, from the youngsters to the amateurs,” he added.
