Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River state has announced his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

VAM News gathers that the governor made the announcement on Thursday morning, May 20, shortly after a meeting with six APC governors who paid him a visit.
