Gunmen in the early hours of Monday razed Ubakala police station in Apumiri community, Ubakala in Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State.
Ubakala police station is located off the ever-busy Ubakala-Old Umuahia road.
Though no life was lost in the attack, vehicles within the premises were burnt while the the police building was set ablaze.
This is coming hours after gunmen killed three police officers and set ablaze Nsukwa Police station in Aniocha South Local Government Area, Delta State.
The gunmen attacked the Police Division and also left some police officers with bullet wounds.
