Olojudo of Ido-Osun Felicitates Adeleke on Re-election, Calls it Testament to God’s Will, Democracy

THE Olojudo of Ido-Osun Alayemore, Oba Olayinka Oyetunde Ishola Jokotola has described the victory of Governor Ademola Adeleke at the Saturday’s governorship election as a testament to God’s will and strength of democracy.

Oba Jokotola made this known on Monday in a statement obtained by newsmen.

The monarch said the result of the polls showed that the will of the people is supreme.

The monarch said, “I warmly congratulate His Excellency, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke on this remarkable victory—a clear testament to God’s will, the people’s mandate and the strength of democracy.

“When the people freely speak through the ballot and their choice is respected, democracy truly thrives. This shows the will of the people remains supreme.”

Oba Jokotola also commended President Bola Ahmed for providing leadership and an environment conducive for democracy to grow.

“I equally commend Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his leadership and commitment to upholding democratic values and ensuring that the people’s mandate remains respected.

“To Governor Adeleke, may this renewed mandate be guided by wisdom, humility and purposeful leadership. May Almighty God grant you the strength and grace to serve the people and deliver greater progress.

“On behalf of myself and the good people of Ido-Osun Alayemore Kingdom, I celebrate with Your Excellency and pray for greater peace, unity and prosperity in our dear State.”
