Cristiano Ronaldo, the former superstar of Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, is set to marry this weekend.
The Portuguese footballer will wed his long-time partner, Georgina Rodriguez, on August 8, as reported by The Sun, UK.
Ronaldo is expected to exchange vows with Rodriguez on the island of Madeira this Saturday, August 8.
According to The Sun, the couple has chosen to hold their wedding in Funchal, the capital of the island, where Ronaldo spent his childhood.
Almost a year after announcing their engagement, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez have secured a cathedral in Funchal for their nuptials.
Additionally, they have reportedly reserved the Savoy Palace hotel for their reception, with a source indicating, “Guests at the hotel have been informed that two floors will be unavailable on Friday and Saturday, along with several bar areas,” as stated in the report by The Sun.
There were also speculations about Ronaldo and Rodriguez marrying in Sintra, Portugal, on August 1; however, that rumor has since been dismissed.
