Ex-Lawmaker To Davido: Tell Your Uncle to Surrender Suspects Allegedly Hiding in Osun Government House

News Update

A Former lawmaker representing Atakumosa East and West in Osun State, Hon. Babatunde Festus Komolafe has urged David Adeleke popularly known as Davido to admonish his uncle, the Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke to turn in to the police criminals hiding in the Government House .

Komolafe stated that Davido would be seen as truly wanting a free and fair election in Osun if he is bold enough to tell Governor Adeleke to yield to the advice of the Inspector General of Police, Olatunji Disu.

it would be recalled that IGP Disu during his visit to Osun government house on Friday told Governor Adeleke that the State Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Gotan, informed him that wanted criminals are hibernating in the government house

IGP Disu said, “The State Commissioner of Police has briefed me that some suspects that he is looking for are hibernating in the Government House. If that is true, why should suspect be in government house? But I have told him, as the police officer in charge, he has a way of going about all these.”

Komolafe held that the video of one of the suspected criminals, Olalekan Ajagungbade “Emir” ushering thugs into the government house currently circulating online is a confirmation that criminals are hiding in the government house with the permission of the Governor.

He said, “If Davido want people to believe that he is truly committed to a free and fair election in Osun, he should be bold enough to tell his uncle to stop abhoring thugs to the extent of keeping suspected criminals in his custody just for the criminals to evade justice.

“The current call on your uncle to stop abhoring criminals by the Inspector General of Police is a vindication of what our party, the All Progressives Congress APC has been saying about the ruling party in the state.

“We will also take the comment of your uncle to the IGP that if it is son that is found wanting in any form, that he, Adeleke will hand him over to the police as an insincere expression. If he is actually sincere, he should turn in “Emir” and other to the police”. Komolafe emphasised.
