Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, champions emerged

Edo Queens have been crowned Nigeria Women Football League, NWFL, champions for the 2025/26 season.

Moses Aduku’s side claimed the title after playing out a 0-0 draw with Bayelsa Queens in their last game of the NWFL playoffs in Port Harcourt on Sunday.

The Benin City club top the standings with 10 points from five games.

It’s the second time Edo Queens will be winning the NWFL title.

Bayelsa Queens finished in second position with eight points.

Nasarawa Amazons missed the chance to win the title after playing out a 0-0 draw with Rivers Angels.
