Benue State Government has announced the death of its Head of Service, Agbogbo Ode.

Ode passed away on Saturday following a brief illness.

A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Serumun Deborah on Saturday, described the late Ode as a seasoned technocrat and a respected authority in public service, whose sudden demise marks a significant loss to the state.

The statement noted that Ode was widely regarded for his credibility, dedication, and immense contributions to the development and efficiency of the Benue State Civil Service.

His tenure, the SSG added, was defined by hard work, professionalism, and a commitment to institutional excellence.

The government extended its condolences to the deceased’s family, friends, associates, and the entire civil service community in the state, praying for the peaceful repose of his soul.
