Idanre, Ondo State — Key stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Idanre Local Government, alongside members of the Local Government Executive Committee and Ward Executives, have unanimously adopted candidates for the upcoming elections.
The decision was reached today during a well-attended meeting held at the party secretariat in Odode, Idanre.
At the meeting, party leaders endorsed Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as the APC’s senatorial candidate. Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye, popularly known as Small Alhaji, was adopted as the consensus candidate for the House of Representatives (MHR), while Hon. Aderemi Oyewole, also known as Gulder, emerged as the consensus candidate for the State House of Assembly (MHA).
Prominent leaders present at the meeting included the GAC Chairman, Engr. Lanji Akingbulugbe; the Ondo State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Afolabi Adesoji; the Idanre Local Government APC Chairman, Pastor Olutosoye; and the Party Secretary, Lanke Akinde.
Also in attendance were all members of the Local Government Party Executive Committee, all Ward Executives, as well as a large number of party leaders and stakeholders from across Idanre.
The adoption, according to party insiders, followed extensive consultations among stakeholders aimed at strengthening party unity and ensuring electoral victory across all levels.

Speakers at the meeting stressed the need for unity, discipline, and total support for the adopted candidates, urging party faithful to work together to secure a sweeping victory for the APC in the forthcoming elections.
The development is widely seen as a major step in consolidating the party’s structure in Idanre and positioning it strongly ahead of the polls.
