They Took My Baby Forever” — POS Operator Murdered

The loved one of the point-of-sale (POS) operator who was shot dead by armed robbers has been thrown into mourning.
 

It has been reported that Raphael Luther Akpetomun, was killed in his shop in Gboko, Benue State on Sunday evening, March 8, 2026.

It was gathered that the victim was attending to customers when the assailants stormed the location. The gunmen attacked and shot him dead before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money.

Taking to Facebook, Anhwer Torkwase Dameriz, shared photos of her with Raphael. She also posted a video of her caressing his framed photo while weeping profusely.

“My heart has been ripped off my chest oooo!!! Lord you let them tear me into shreds! They took my baby away forever,” she wrote.
