ChiefPriest makes shocking allegations over Davido’s Grammy loss

Nigerian socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as ChiefPriest, has claimed that the Grammy loss of his friend abd Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, was a deliberate attempt to break him and indulge in demonic activities.

It was reports that Davido lost out to South African star, Tyla, in the Best African Music Performance category at the 2026 Grammy Awards Ceremony on Sunday.

Tyla clinched the prize with her song “Push 2 Start”, ahead of Burna Boy’s “Love”, Davido’s “With You” featuring Omah Lay, Ayra Starr and Wizkid’s “Gimme Dat”, as well as Eddy Kenzo and Mehran Matin’s “Hope & Love”.

This is the second time Tyla has won the category since its introduction in 2024, when she first clinched the award with “Water”, making her the inaugural recipient.

Reacting to the development, Chiefpriest took to his Instagram page to share photos of himself and Davido, stating that some white music executives are doing everything possible to make Davido join their ungodly activities.

He noted that Davido would never engage in any demonic activities and also encouraged the singer to move past the loss and release new music for his fans.

He wrote, “Oyibo dey do everything possible to break a strong man so he can do their demonic sh*t with them, but he will never do it. Heads up, brother, open the bag and drop another hot one for us. E no dey finish, gbedu na water.
