20-year-old mutilated body found inside bush

A 20-year-old lady, earlier declared missing by relations, has been found dead in the bush.
Search operations conducted by close relations with the help of local security led to the discovery of the lifeless body of the lady on Monday at Eika-Adagu community along the Okene-Lokoja highway.

The family was shocked to discover her body without her breasts and private parts.The family confirmed that Suleiman Rahama Onono was a 20-year-old student of the Federal College of Education (FCE), Okene.

Rahama was reported missing on Saturday, January 24, and has not been in contact since then. Family, friends, and the college community had been searching for her, raising concerns over her sudden disappearance.

The body has been evacuated from the scene by the police and deposited at Okengwe General Hospital morgue for autopsy and preservation.

Residents continue to express deep fear and have renewed calls for urgent security enhancements, including the installation of streetlights to deter crimes that occur under the cover of darkness.

Residents of Camp 2, where the body of Rahama was found, have said the area has become notorious for all kinds of criminal activities in recent years.

This follows a pattern of recent violent incidents in the area, including the killings of two okada riders, whose motorcycles were stolen.
