Afolabi Akinwa AFOD Gives Cash Gifts To Widows In Idanre

THE special Adviser on youth and community works to Idanre local government Chairman, Hon. Afolabi Akinwa AFOD, has shown his generosity by distributing cash gifts to widows in Isalu Jigbokin ward in Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo state, today December 24th 2025.

At the event, Hon. Afolabi Akinwa emphasized his love and passion to remember the people. “I will continue to bring smiles to the faces of widows,” he stated. He underscored his commitment to sharing resources and reaching out to those in need.

Hon. AFOD urged the women to pray for continued peace in Idanre, and Ondo state, especially for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, whom he described as a leader with the people’s best interests at heart.

Reaffirming his dedication to fairness, AFOD assured that the selection of the 20 beneficiaries is based on merit, not political affiliations.

People in attendance include; Akinlalu Smart Kanada, Akinlalu Olaleye, Akinrotohun Adeola, and ⁠Tommy Olusheyi.

The grateful widows expressed their appreciation with songs and praises, thanking Hon. Afolabi Akinwa for his generosity and support during the festive season.
