The Ashanti Regional Minister, Frank Amoakohene, made this known in a Facebook post on Thursday, December 18, 2025. He said the deportations followed different court rulings across the region.
Other foreign nationals were also affected. They include 13 Cameroonians, three Ivorians, three Burkinabe nationals, and seven Beninese citizens. In all, 68 Africans were deported as a result of the decisions.
