Birthday: Hon. Ibrahim Kunle Olarewaju Celebrates “The People’s Governor” Oyebanji; Backs 2026 Vision

News Update

THE Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on National Assembly Matters, Hon. Ibrahim Kunle Olarewaju, has extended his warmest felicitations to the Executive Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on the auspicious occasion of his 58th birthday.

In a heartfelt tribute, Hon. Olarewaju described Governor Oyebanji as a grassroots politician par excellence and a transformative leader whose administration has become a benchmark for sub-national governance in Nigeria. He noted that the Governor’s tenure has been defined by a deep-seated commitment to the “Shared Prosperity” mantra, ensuring that the dividends of democracy reach the smallest hamlets in Ekiti State through the meticulous execution of his Six-Point Development Agenda.

Hon. Olarewaju emphasized that Governor Oyebanji is not just a leader but a listener whose approach to governance has touched virtually every household. From aggressive infrastructure expansion and rural connectivity to strategic investments in agriculture and human capital, the Governor has proven that politics is most potent when used as a tool for selfless service.

As His Excellency marks this milestone, Hon. Olarewaju offered fervent prayers for his continued well-being, asking that the Almighty grants him the “Wisdom of Solomon” to navigate the complexities of leadership and the “Strength of Caleb” to remain tireless in his service to the people. He prayed that the light of God continues to illuminate the Governor’s path, shielding him from all detractors and surrounding him with counsel that is pure and productive. May his days be long, his health remain robust, and his heart continue to find joy in the smiles of the Ekiti people whose lives he has so profoundly changed.

Looking toward the 2026 elections, the SSA expressed unwavering confidence in the Governor’s future, praying for a smooth and resounding victory at the polls. He noted that the foundations laid in the last few years deserve to be built upon, and he asked for divine favor to cover the Governor as he sets his sights on a second term to complete his vision of a Greater Ekiti.

The statement concluded with a call to the people of Ekiti State to remain steadfast in their support for the Oyebanji administration and the “Renewed Hope” agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as both leaders work in synergy to deliver a more prosperous Nigeria.

Signed,
Media Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters.
