Only Son of Tinubu’s aide dies in Dubai

Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Sustainable Development Goals, Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire has lost her only son.

The son identified as Oluwafemi Olawale Adefulire died on Wednesday after undergoing surgery in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

He was a medical doctor who lived in the United Kingdom.

He is survived by his wife and children.

Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, a princess and seasoned administrator, served as Lagos State Deputy Governor from 2011 to 2015 under Governor Babatunde Fashola.

She currently serves as Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Sustainable Development Goals, a role she resumed in 2023 after previously holding it under former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Her career also includes serving as Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation from 2003 to 2011.

Orelope-Adefulire remains a strong political figure at the grassroots level as APC Political Apex Leader of Alimosho Federal Constituency and as a member of the Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council.

The family has not yet released information regarding burial arrangements.
