Shifauk Group of Hospitals offer Free Medical Checkup at 2025 Osun Digital Media Week, Thursday

THE digital buzz of the Osun Digital Media Week 2025 is set to be amplified not just by technology but by a powerful message of wellness.

The event, organised by the Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA) under the leadership of Mukhtar Ajelogbon is scheduled to also hold a public lecture and free medical checkup on Thursday 4th December 2025 at 11:00AM to bring together the leaders and innovators across media, governance, technology and civic engagement.

Shifauk Group of Hospitals has introduced a life-affirming element to the proceedings: a comprehensive Free Medical Checkup and Wellness Clinic. The partnership was facilitated by the CMD of Shifauk Group of Hospitals and Osun 2026 ADC Governorship Aspirant, DR. R.O. Saliu Orisunlagba, announced with great fanfare, recognized that the high-stress, fast-paced world of digital media often leads professionals to neglect their health.

However, the Shifauk Group of Hospitals set to transform a corner of the public lecture venue into a fully-equipped medical outreach centre, staffed by a dedicated team of doctors, nurses, and specialists.

At the venue, the clinic offers essential services like blood pressure, malaria and blood sugar screening checks, and general medical consultations – all completely free of charge.

The hospital group’s philosophy, centred on proactive and accessible healthcare, resonates deeply with the participants, fostering a dialogue about the importance of regular checkups and work-life balance in the demanding media industry.

The collaboration between Shifauk Group of Hospitals and the Osun Digital Media Week 2025 proved to be more than just a sponsorship, it will be a genuine investment in the health of the community and a shining example of how institutions can use major public platforms to deliver direct, tangible social benefits.
