Immediate Past APC Chairman, Famodun Dies

THE former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun state and factional Owa of Igbajo land, Oba Adegboyega Famodun has died.

Oba Famodun died on Friday night in Abuja where he was receiving treatment.

Multiple sources revealed that the politician has been hospitalized in Abuja for about two weeks ago but succumbed to death.

Famodun who served as the Osun state APC chairman between 2014 and 2022 when he resigned to occupy the vacant stool of Owa of Igbajo.

He was removed by Governor Ademola Adeleke via a controversial executive order in 2023 and was replaced by another candidate in the royal house.
