The incident, which has thrown the community into shock, was discovered late in the afternoon after hotel staff entered the room when repeated knocks went unanswered.

The hotel, located along the busy Ore–Okitipupa Road and known as a regular stop for travellers and locals, became a scene of distress when workers found the lady lying motionless on the bed, with no visible signs of violence.
