PDP mocked for seeking Trump’s help over democracy

Former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani has chided the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for asking US President Donald Trump to help Nigeria save the country’s democracy.

Sani criticised the opposition party on Tuesday in a post on his verified X handle following PDP’s call on President Trump.

VAM NEWS reports that the newly elected National Chairman of the PDP, Taminu Turaki, called on Trump to come and save democracy in Nigeria.

Reacting, the former lawmaker said, “The new PDP chairman is reportedly asking for Trump’s help.

Recall that Sani has been speaking out against any military action in Nigeria after Trump’s threat over Christian genocide.
