News Update
Social media has been buzzing since Nollywood actress turned politician Chioma Ifemeludike unveiled her official campaign photos ahead of the Anambra State Governorship Election 2025.
The flag bearer of the African Action Congress (AAC), the same party founded by activist and presidential hopeful Omoyele Sowore, shared a stunning photo of herself in a sleek black outfit, confidently announcing her intention to run for governor.
In her post on X (formerly Twitter), she proudly declared:
“I am the flag bearer of the African Action Congress (AAC) and I’m proud to say that I’m the best candidate for the November 8 Anambra gubernatorial election.”

While many fans praised her confidence and beauty, others couldn’t help but focus on her daring campaign look.
Dressed in a figure-hugging, sultry black dress, Ifemeludike’s photo immediately went viral, sparking mixed reactions online.
Some hailed her as “a bold, fearless woman ready to lead,” while others questioned whether such a look fits a political candidate.
A commentator wrote; “This woman means business! I love her confidence.” Another said; “She’s beautiful, but this look might be too hot for politics.”
However, she is not the only candidate in the race this year. She will be running against the incumbent governor Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), among others.
Love her or not, Chioma Ifemeludike has made one thing clear: she’s not playing small.
