OSUN NAWOJ Extols Olufunmilayo Ojo For Bagging PhD

THE Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Osun State chapter, rejoices with delight in celebrating its trailblazing icon, Dr. (Mrs.) Olufunmilayo Sharon Ojo, on the occasion of her Convocation as a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mass Communication from the esteemed Adeleke University Ede, Osun state.

This is not just a personal victory, but a historic accomplishment that radiates inspiration and brings immense honour to the NAWOJ family particularly Osun State chapter and the entire B-Zone, where she once served with exceptional diligence as the South-West Zonal Secretary of the association.

According to the release by the state Chairperson Comrade Abisola Ariwodola, and Secretary Oluwaranti Ojewumi, “Dr. Mrs Ojo, your academic ascent is a testimony of vision, strength, and tenacity. Earning a Ph.D. is no small feat. It is the crown jewel of academic achievement, and your journey to this pinnacle reflects years of painstaking research, sacrifice, and relentless pursuit of excellence. You have truly embodied the spirit of a lifelong learner and a resilient woman who has defied odds to break boundaries.”

“Your achievement is even more remarkable as you have seamlessly combined your roles as a journalist with Gold FM, Radio Nigeria, a community builder, a family woman, a mentor, a development worker, and now, an academia of repute. Indeed, you are a shining light and a role model to all women in journalism and beyond.”
