APC Suspends Activities, Closes State Secretariat In Osun

THE Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has closed the state secretariat of the party.

This is in honour of the demise of former President Muhammadu Buhari who died in the early hours of Sunday in London.

According to the State Secretary of the party, Honourable Kamoru Olabisi Alao, the state secretariat of the party would remain closed from all activities till Thursday as a sign of respect for the death of the former Nigerian President who was the national leader of the party.

Hon Alao enjoined all the members, supporters and apologists of the leading opposition APC in the state to continue to pray for the repose of the soul of the fallen ex-Nigerian President Buhari.

The remains of the demised former President were brought to Nigeria from London for burial in his Daura, Katsina State, residence today.

The APC Secretary consoled the members of the immediate and political families of the demised former President and prayed to Allah to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
