Team Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye (Small Alhaji) Media Statement
We strongly condemn the violent attack that occurred today, June 27th, 2025, at First Gate in Akure, where a group of about six individuals—armed with cutlasses and arriving on motorcycles—targeted one of the loyal supporters of Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye (Small Alhaji).
This unprovoked assault, allegedly led by a known individual named Samuel Sina Abioye popularly know as (Chamokay Fessy)—reportedly acting on the instruction of the current Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Festus Akingbaso Fessywest—is both disturbing and unacceptable.
Thankfully, no life was lost. However, this incident represents a dangerous descent into political thuggery and intimidation, which must be condemned by all well-meaning citizens.
We call on the Nigerian Police and other relevant security agencies to promptly investigate this incident and ensure that those responsible are held accountable.
We also urge Hon. Fessywest and other political actors to call their supporters to order. Politics should never be a trigger for violence or threats. It is a peaceful contest of ideas and service to the people—not a battleground.
Team Small Alhaji remains committed to peace, responsible political engagement, and the protection of democratic values in Idanre and across Ondo State.
Signed:
Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye (Small Alhaji) Media Directorate
27th June, 2025.
