THE Ondo State Security Network codenamed Amotekun Corps has arrested the prime suspect among the killers of Nelson Adepoyigi, who was yhe All Progressives Congress (APC) ward 5 Chairman in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State until his death.
Adepoyigi was kidnapped last month at his residence in Ifon and shot dead by his abductors in the forest after collecting ransom.
The Corps Commander of Amotekun, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye confirmed the arrest of the prime suspect while parading 32 other suspected criminals in Akure.
According to Adeleye, the suspect has confessed to the killing of the APC ward Chairman and cooperating with Amotekun Corps to aid the arrest of other suspects in connection with the crime.
