THE Idanre Local Government legislative arm has passed the 2025 Appropriation Bill, titled “Renewed Hope 2025 Budget”.
The bill, presented by the Executive Chairman, was thoroughly reviewed and deliberated upon by the House Committee on Appropriation and Finance, chaired by Hon. Babatunde Sunday Adeboyeku.
During today’s plenary, Hon. Adeboyeku stated, “I am pleased to present the budget for approval. Total budget estimate: N 4,463,700,000.33, with expected statutory revenue from FAAC of N 1,302,073,674.18, expected independent revenue of N 200,000,000.00, and expected 10% State IGR of N 50,000,000.00. Meanwhile, the proposed recurrent expenditure is N 3,484,285,529.80 and proposed Capital expenditure of N974,333,231.71
After thorough review and deliberation, I believe this budget aligns with our community’s needs and priorities. I urge my fellow honorable members to support its passage.”
The bill was successfully passed after a motion for its passage was moved by Deputy Leader Hon. Rasak Akinola and seconded by Majority Leader Hon. Wuraola Oluwagbemiga.
