Birthday: Eniade Gives N20,000 To 2000 People In IBO Federal Constituency, Distributes Hundreds Of Cows, Rams For Eid Celebrations

It was a nostalgic atmosphere in Okuku, the headquarters of Odo-Otin Local Government as Hon. Eniade Damilare Francis marked the occasion of his birthday.

The event which drew party faithfuls, leaders and chieftains from across Ifelodun/Boripe/Odo-Otin Federal Constituency saw the empowerment of 2000 constituents with a financial support of N20,000 each.

The beneficiaries who were majorly the less privileged, aged, widowed, people living with disabilities and petty traders lauded the House of Representatives Hopeful, stating that his philanthropic gesture indicates his commitment to the wellbeing of his people and the economic growth of the federal constituency.

They noted that Eniade has demonstrated an uncommon passion for the welfare of the less privileged in the society, a noble gesture that prioritised the most vulnerable in the society and tailored to meet their needs.

In his remarks Eniade stated that it has always been part of his him to give back to his society irrespective of politics, it was therefore a great privilege for him to use the occasion of his birthday to reach out to his people in IBO Federal Constituency.

He also announced that for the forthcoming Eid celebration, hundreds of cows and rams have been purchased and distribution will commenced in earnest.

He stated that the 38 wards of the federal constituency will get a ram each for the celebration of Eid while leaders of the APC, selected community leaders, royal fathers and stakeholders would also get gifts of cow and rams respectively.

“For me, it is the most noble thing to do, giving back to my society and showing love and kindness to the less privileged. I thought it wise to spend this year’s birthday in Okuku so I can witness first hand the needs of our people and device a means to regularly support especially widows, children, people living with disabilities, aged and the most vulnerable people in our midst.

“The selection process was rigorous, we consulted with community leaders, royal fathers and critical stakeholders in all the local governments to ensure that the beneficiaries are truly those who needed the financial support the most and I am glad that we are touching lives with our noble efforts.

“Let me also announce that we have made preparations for the celebration of the forthcoming Eid, we have purchased hundreds of cows and rams, each of our 38 wards will get a ram each for the celebration of this year’s Eid, our royal fathers, community leaders, APC Stalwarts and stakeholders will get their cows and rams as soon as we wrap up this event”.

Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun praised Eniade for the philanthropic gesture adding that he has exhibited his love for his community in the most noble way.
