News Update
An 80-year-old man has reportedly served his 70-year-old wife divorce papers in Abia State.
Human rights activist, Ochiegbu Marvelous, who intervened in the matter, said the man also got the woman arrested after accusing her of attempting to poison him five years ago.
According to Ochiegbu, the man sold his 20 plots of land to deal with his wife and when his son confronted him, he included the son’s name on the petition calling him a “kidnapper.”
“80-year old man from my village served his wife of 70yrs divorce papers last week from high court Abia. Their first son is in 40’s,” he wrote.
Yesterday I and my team secured the release of the said wife (Mama) from state SCIID who he arrested alleging that she attempted to poison him 5years ago! Funny man!
