Four footballers k!lled, 13 others injured in Plateau auto crash
Four players of the Lebwit Football Academy have lost their lives in a road accident around Kwanan Maciji-Pankshin-Kanke road in Plateau State.

The deceased were identified as Shikritda Goma, Chapbe Gontur, Nenyitwe Gopar and Dargak Caleb.

The manager of Plateau University FC, Habila Hosea Mutla, told Daily Trust on Thursday, April 24, 2024 that some players were also injured in the crash which occurred on Wednesday.

He said the injured players were receiving treatment at the General Hospital, Pankshin.

“The unfortunate incident claimed the lives of 4 players. The sight of young football players dying as a result of accident like these is quite discouraging,” he said.
