32-Year-Old Resident Dumps Car On Roadside Commits Suicide

A graduate, Chukwuka, was said to have hailed from a comfortable home and also exhibited no sign of distress prior to the incident.

A man has taken his own life after parking his car by the oradside in Abia state.

He has been identified as Chukwuka Nwosu, from Itaja Obuohia in Olokoro in Umuahia South LGA of Abia State.

He was on Thursday, discovered dead, after allegedly committing suicide.

Chukwuka’s lifeless body was discovered dangling on a tree in front of a building along a road in University community, Umudike.

The young man was said to have parked his Toyota Corolla car very close to the scene of the crime, before taking his life.

The incident jolted the community and those who knew the youngman as some of them called for a thorough investigation into his death.

There had been no official confirmation by the state government or the Police as at the time of this report.

An indigene of Olokoro who confirmed the sad development to Journalist on Saturday, said the scene of the incident was visited by Police while some certain traditions were performed by the villagers before the corpse of the suicide victim was taken to the mortuary.
