In a glamorous ceremony held on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Sunbeth Hotel, Akure, Hon. Oyewole Aderemi Guilder, Senior Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Inter-Party Affairs, was honoured with the prestigious African Giant Award.
The award, themed “The Economic Hardship in Nigeria: The Way Forward,” was organized by Face of African TV. It recognizes Hon. Guilder’s significant social and political contributions to Ondo State’s development.
The event was attended by esteemed dignitaries, including APC chieftains and government officials.
Hon. Guilder expressed gratitude to God, the organizers, and the Governor of Ondo State, H.E. Governor Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
Hon. Guilder also expressed his gratitude to Hon. Tajudeen Atenidegbe Adefisoye, a member of the House of Representatives for Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency in the 9th National Assembly, for facilitating his appointment as a gubernatorial aide. His heartfelt appreciation earned him even more respect, as the Master of Ceremony acknowledged his heartfelt appreciation, noting that Guilder had specifically recognized ‘Small Alhaji’ as the key figure behind his appointment as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor. The MC praised Guilder as a man of exceptional character and nature.
Other notable dignitaries in attendance included Dr. Olumuyiwa Adu, the leader of Idanre 8th assembly -RT Hon. Engr. Folarin Osedele, Hon. Akinde Abimbola Salas( S .A), Hon. Olanegan Dimeji (S. A), and Hon. Akinro Vincent, Hon. Tunis, Chairman Team Guilder- Akinlalu Smart (Kanada) , Mr Tope Owoseni, Mr. Akinuli Ilesanmi among others.
Hon. Guilder thanked all well-wishers for their support and encouragement.
