OSSIEC Publishes List of Shortlisted Ad-Hoc Staff for Council Polls

THE Osun State Independent Electoral Commission, (OSSIEC) has shortlisted successful applicants for ad-hoc staff as part of its preparations towards the success of the 2025 Local Government Election.

The categories of ad-hoc staff required for the exercise are: Returning Officers (R.O’s), Supervisory Presiding Officers (S.P.O’s), Presiding Officers (P.O’s) And Poll Clerks (P.C’s).

In a release signed by Sadiat Isiaka,the Information Officer Of the Commission, it was indicated that those shortlisted are mostly those in the Civil service and the Teaching Service of the State, academics, Youth Corpers and a good number of retirees who are not yet tired.

The release further hinted that training of Supervisory Presiding Officers will hold between 1st and 2nd February 2025, while training of other categories of ad-hoc staffs will hold at dates to be announced soon.

Applicants are therefore advised to visit the website of the Commission www.ossiec.org to ascertain their status, while successful applicants are enjoined to come to the Training Center with copies of their respective printouts/PDF slips.
