Tragedy as Hospital Worker Jumps Into Well After Dinner

THE Acting Head of the Audit Department at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, Adeniyi Oluwaseun, has ended his life by jumping into a well in the Obantoko area of Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The incident happended on Sunday evening shortly after Adeniyi had his dinner.

Although the reason for his action is yet to be known, the deceased had been battling mental health challenges and had previously undergone treatment.

His body was recovered from the well and has since been deposited at a morgue.

Confirming the incident, on Tuesday, the Head of Public Relations and Communication Unit at FMC Abeokuta, Segun Orisajo, described the late Adeniyi as a hardworking and loyal staff member whose sudden death came as a shock to everyone at the hospital.
