BB26 Celebrates Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji on 57th Birthday: A Tribute To Leadership and Commitment to Ekiti State

News Update

On the occasion of our esteemed Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s 57th birthday, the Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji Beyond 2026 (BB26) coalition wishes to extend heartfelt congratulations and commendations for his exemplary service and transformative leadership across Ekiti State.

BB26, a dynamic coalition composed of forward-thinking young individuals, is dedicated to promoting the virtues of Governor Oyebanji’s good governance initiatives. Our mission is to engage citizens and encourage them to embrace the principles of responsible leadership and civic responsibility as we look toward a vision of continuity and growth beyond 2026.

Today, we celebrate Mr. Governor’s significant achievements in various sectors, including agriculture, education, health, and infrastructure development. One of his landmark accomplishments is the completion of the Ekiti Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport (EAICA) in Ado-Ekiti, which has received approval from the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA). Non-scheduled flight operations at the EAICA commenced on December 15th, 2024. This crucial project is poised to revolutionize the economic landscape of our state by facilitating the efficient transportation of agricultural products, enhancing trade opportunities, boosting the local economy, attracting investments, promoting tourism, and generating employment to contribute significantly to Ekiti State’s overall development.

Moreover, Mr. Governor’s decisive actions, such as the recent salary increment for Ekiti workers and appointees, reflect his unwavering commitment to improving the lives of Ekiti Kete and invigorating the local economy. This initiative has begun to yield positive impacts on the livelihoods of many families throughout the state.

Governor Oyebanji’s radical approach to utilizing local content in governance has set a new standard for economic empowerment within our communities. Furthermore, his steadfast respect for the rule of law ensures that every citizen’s rights are upheld in a just society.

We particularly commend his compassionate heart for individuals living with disabilities. In a display of remarkable humility and philanthropy, Mr. Governor has announced that no parties, jingles, or advertisements should accompany his birthday celebrations. Instead, he has courageously directed that all funds for such activities be sent to support Special Schools throughout Ekiti State. This selfless act exemplifies his dedication to humanitarian service and reinforces the values of inclusivity within our society.

As we celebrate his birth and reflect on his accomplishments, we urge all citizens of Ekiti State to unite in support of his vision for continued growth and development. Let us work collaboratively to uphold the principles of good governance that he passionately champions.

On behalf of Team BB26, led by Hon. Olalekan Ijidale, we wish Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji a very happy 57th birthday! May this year bring even greater accomplishments for His Excellency and the people of Ekiti State as we strive for a more prosperous future for all.

Signed:
Adesoji Gabriel (AngelGabby)
Publicity Secretary
For BAO Beyond 2026 (BB26)
