THE Senior Special Assistant to the President on students engagement, Comrade Sunday Asefon has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for allocating N3.52trillion towards the education sector in the 2025 budget.
This is contained in a statement signed by the SSAP in Abuja, on Wednesday.
Comrade Sunday described it as the highest in the history of the Nation.
The statement noted that this remarkable commitment underscores Tinubu belief that education is the best legacy to empower the youth.
“With this landmark investment, affordable and quality education at all levels is now within reach, bringing renewed hope to students and families nationwide” Comrade Sunday emphasizes.
“Truly, this is a transformative step towards building a brighter future for Nigeria. Thank you, Mr. President, for prioritizing the education sector” Asefon added.
Voice Air Media reports that President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday, presented a total budget of N49.7tn to the joint session of the National Assembly.
The budget tagged, “Restoration budget, securing peace and building prosperity.”
Tinubu noted that the budget seeks to restore macroeconomic growth and build the economy.
