Osun Digital Media Week 2024: Abokede, Adewinmbi, Oyeweso, Opalola, Fresh FM, Nike Art Gallery, Others to bag OOPA Awards

THE Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA) is set to honor distinguished personalities and organizations for their exceptional contributions to the development and progress of Osun State.

The highly anticipated ceremony promises to celebrate excellence across various sectors that have positively impacted Osun State.

As part of the event, a special lecture will be delivered on the theme,
” The Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Digital Media in the 21st Century,”
a timely and relevant topic that explores how technology is reshaping the digital media landscape and influencing the way news is consumed and shared globally.

OOPA will present Awards for Men of Valours and Women of Virtues to the following individuals in recognition of their extraordinary achievements and their significant role in fostering the development of Osun State:

1) Mrs. Funmi Abokede 2) Prof. Siyan Oyeweso 3) CSP Yemisi Opalola
4) Comrade (Chief) Amitolu Shittu
5) Brig. Gen. Bashir Abiodun Adewinbi (Rtd)
6) Comr. Olowu Emmanuel
7) Mr. Ayodele Agboola.

Another category of the Osun Digital Media Award 2024 where some individuals and organizations emerged through online voting will also be recognized in their respective categories:

Corporate Brand of the Year:

• Nike Art Gallery – For excellence in the promotion and preservation of cultural heritage.

Private Secondary School of the Year:

• Pheobestar Royalty Schools, Osogbo – For its academic excellence and contributions to shaping future leaders.

Philanthropist of the Year:

• Dr. Adelawon Taiwo (Trose Foundation) – For his outstanding philanthropic efforts aimed at improving lives and supporting various causes in Osun State.

Private Radio Station of the Year:

•Fresh FM, Osogbo – For its impact on the media landscape and its contribution to the growth of digital media in Osun State.

Meanwhile, Mr. Akintunde Idowu will also receive Award as the best member of Osun Online Publishers Association in the year 2024.

The OOPA Digital Week 2024 promises to be an exciting and inspiring event that highlights the collective efforts of these trailblazers in shaping the future of Osun State.

The event will bring together key stakeholders in government, business, education, media, and the arts, fostering networking and collaboration aimed at building a brighter future for the state.
