Operatives of the CP-Special Assignment Team (CP-SAT) have busted an illicit drug warehouse along Shell Road area of Sapele Town in Delta State and arrested seven distributing agents.
The arrested suspects include Chukwudi Ruben ‘m’ 28 years, Justice Chire ‘m’ 19 years, Igwe Solomon ‘m’ 27 years, Peter Irikefe ‘m’ 44 years, Emmanuel John ‘m’ 32 years, Alex Peter ‘m’ 29 years, and David Dominic ‘m’ 30 years.
According to report, they were arrested on 13/11/2024.
The police also recovered from the warehouse multiple bottles of codeine, multiple sachets of tramadol, weeds suspected to be Indian hemp, multiple sachets of a phenol drug named Canadian Loud, and other prohibited drugs.
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the report in a statement sent to our correspondent in Warri.
The police image maker said, “Also recovered was a Toyota Camry with reg. number KJA 996 BH, used in the distribution of the said drugs by the major distributor named Mr. Uzochukwu Obiora ‘m,’ aka ‘Obi God,’ who is currently on the run.”
