Osun Park Managers’ Boss Alowonle arrested

Operatives of the Osun State Police Command have reportedly arrested Nurudeen Wakili Alowonle, Chairman of Osun State Transport Management System (OSTMS).

It was gathered that Alowonle, an aide to Governor Ademola Adeleke, was arrested on Monday night in Osogbo.

A police source also disclosed that he was arrested with a pistol, allegedly belonging to the police.

“Yes, Alowonle was arrested and operatives also recovered a police pistol recovered from him,” the source said.

It was also reliably gathered that Alowonle is currently receiving treatment at a government medical facility in Osogbo after sustaining injuries when he attempted to flee with handcuffs on him.

The source added that, “He’s currently at a hospital in Osogbo. He attempted to flee with the handcuffs on him and sustained injuries in the process.”

When contacted, the Acting spokesperson of the Osun State Police Command, Emmanuel Giwa-Alade, declined comments. He, however, promised to get back.
