Tinubu’s aide Asefon, Others Grace Noella Foundation Career Readiness Life After School 2024 Summit

Yesterday, I joined the Founder and Co Founder of NOELLA FOUNDATION – Mrs Layal Tinubu and Barr Seyi Tinubu, Mr Charles Odii – DG SMEDAN, SSA to President on Photography – Mr Nosa Asemota, Our superstar Hip hop singer Mr David Davido Adeleke (OBO), Other Guest Speakers, NOELLA Foundation team, students, educators and gentlemen of the press.

It is with great honor that I stand before you today as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Students Engagement at this pivotal Career Readiness Summit 2024.

Today, we gathered to reaffirm our commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders by NOELLA FOUNDATION. We recognize that the landscape of work is evolving rapidly, and it is our collective responsibility to ensure our students are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive.

As we navigate this new era, we must prioritize collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity. Our goal is clear: to bridge the gap between education and industry, fostering a workforce that is adaptable, resilient, and future-ready.

To our beneficiaries of today’s event, 5 students who were given 1 million naira each by the Founder, 20 students who are to be trained free in photography through the office of the SSA to the President on photography and another 20 students who were selected for free Tech training. I congratulate you all!

Please, I urge you to
1. SET CAREER GOALS:
Define your short-term and long-term objectives, and create an action plan to achieve them.
2. SEEK MENTORSHIP: Identify professionals or faculty members who can offer guidance and support.
3. TAKE CALCULATED RISKS: Step out of your comfort zone and explore new opportunities, internships, or entrepreneurial ventures.

And to the rest of our students, I want to emphasize that your voice matters. Your aspirations, concerns, and ideas are the foundation upon which we build our strategies. We are committed to listening, supporting, and amplifying your perspectives.

And to our educators and NOELLA FOUNDATION, I say a big thank you for your tireless efforts. Your dedication to shaping the minds and future of our young people is invaluable!

On a final note, together let us redefine what career readiness means in the 21st century. Let us create pathways that are accessible, equitable, and relevant to the challenges of our time.
