Houses submerged as flood wreaks havoc in Ogbomoso, residents laments

Some houses have been submerged as a result of flood recorded in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

 

The heavy downpour was recorded in some parts of Ogbomoso between Wednesday and Thursday morning.

 

It was learnt that Ora River, which traverses the eastern part of the city, got its bank overflown, causing the flooding.

 

Some of the areas affected included Isale Ora and Aduinin.

 

It was learnt that a Cherubim and Seraphim church building and a wooden store for selling planks near the bank of the river were completely submerged.

 

Other properties were also affected by the flood.
