Kenya Stevens, an American woman in a polyamorous marriage with two husbands, Carl and Tiger, has expressed her desire to marry a third man.
Featured on the TLC show Seeking Brother Husband, Kenya explained how she and her two husbands navigate life together under one roof. “I’ve been married to my first husband, Carl, for 26 years and to my second husband, Tiger, for nine years,” she shared.
Kenya believes that women should have the same freedom as men to have multiple partners. Describing herself as free-spirited, she continues to date and maintain other relationships alongside her two husbands, stating that she simply loves to love and enjoys dating. Living with both husbands in North Carolina, Kenya noted, “I have many partners and connections. Polyamory isn’t for everyone, as it can be complex in a society where monogamy is the norm.”
Her polyamorous journey began when she fell for another man and discussed her feelings with Carl, her first husband. Although it took Carl two years to accept the idea, he eventually embraced it, stating, “You have to allow women to express themselves.”
Tiger, her second husband, expressed his concerns about Kenya’s desire for a third husband, admitting, “Are we not enough? I worry the next man might outshine me in some way.”
Despite these challenges, the family continues to navigate their unique relationship dynamic.
