THE Ikire born Nollywood actor and On Air Personality, Otunba Adekunle Abolade famously known as Dodoede has unveiled his plan to set another record in the entertainment industry with a 3in1 event in Osogbo, the Osun State Capital.
Dodoede, the producer of Wura Mi and Ehanna movies, aims to celebrate 20-year in the broadcasting industry, his birthday and fundraising for the shooting of a cinema movie.
This was revealed in a release jointly signed by the Planning Committee Chairman, Chief Sunday Ayesoro and the Secretary, Prince Adedayo Adeyemi which was made available to newsmen by the Publicity Secretary of the Committee, Mukhtar Ajelogbon on Thursday in Osogbo.
According to the release, the event is a unique blend of celebration, entertainment, and fund raising to mark three significant milestones in the life of the celebrant.
The 3in1 event which promised to be first of its kind will focus on two-decades of remarkable achievement of Dodoede in the broadcasting industry; Birthday Celebration and two-hundred million naira (N200m) fundraising to shoot a cinema movie titled ‘Amobi Esho’.
Part of the uncommon and first ever live performance of three-superstars musicians in Fuji, Islamic and gospel music industries, as renowned Nigerian Fuji musician and entertainer, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma Oganla-Fuji, and the dynamic duo of Taye-Kehinde Adegbodu known for their captivating gospel performances will be performing live alongside a celebrated Islamic musician and entertainer, Alhaji Alayande Ere Asalatu.
The release added that the only Gate Pass for the event is the Aso-Ebi meant for the event; Ankara 4-yard with Fila – N25,000 while Ankara 6-yards with Gele – N30,000, noting that the time and location to get Aso-Ebi will be disclosed latter.
The event is dated 16th February, 2025
at Adolak Event Hall, Opposite Old Governor’s Office, Ogo-Oluwa, Osogbo, Osun State at 11:00AM.
Dignitaries from all walks of life will grace the event that will be dominated by eminent business tycoons, traditional rulers, Nollywood actors, entertainers, media professionals, politicians, technocrats, celebrities, influencers, groups among others.
This event promises to be an unforgettable experience and aims to make a lasting impact on the life of the celebrant and the entertainment industry.
